Clean and push press for 5’s up to 80kg for 2 sets

Overhead strength is still way down. The clean feels super easy, the drive still feels heavy. I am going to try increasing the 5 singles 5kg a week until I can get back up to my max clean.
Monday Training
Standard warm up (these have been consistent lately and I can tell it is making a difference).
Snatch of off 8” boxes for a power snatch then 2 full snatches @ 40,50,60,70,70
Clean and jerk off of boxes for doubles up to 80kg
Overhead squats for triples up to 70kg
Snatch single up to 80kg
clean for a single then 3 jerks @ 90kg

Clean pull X 5
Clean press X 5
Clean grip overhead squat X 5

Barbell complex( Power clean + 2 full cleans + 2 jerks )
40kg, 50kg, 60kg, 70kg, 80kg, 90kg, 100kg all with a couple minute rests in between.

So, close, I wanted 1000lb total though… We are going to try this again in 6 weeks, so new goal = 1000lb total.

The Barbell jumps were probably too heavy. I am thinking of changing the weight to 50% of my clean and jerk and just do a dip and jump instead of a full squat first.

The meet went good. I was able to power snatch 85kg and clean and jerk 110kg. My shoulder is about 80% there now. I am looking forward to a full recovery and a better performance in February.
